Anna Shreeve scored a game-high 24 points and Sydney Peterson added 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead San Juan Hills’ girls basketball team past visiting Rosary 69-56 in a clash of Orange County-ranked teams Thursday in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

The Stallions (19-10), ranked 11th in the county, advanced to play at reigning SoCal Division I champion Santiago of Corona in the second round Saturday.

Loyola Marymount-bound Allison Clarke scored 23 points in her final game for No. 8 Rosary (18-9).

In other Division 1 games:

Esperanza 70, Valley View 37: The host Aztecs (25-4) scored 45 points in the second half to advance to a second round game at Lynwood on Saturday. Charlotte Muller scored 24 points and Madi Lam added 18 for Esperanza, which led 25-19 at halftime.

Portola 68, Paramount 54: Nina Saiki scored 21 points and Kira Watanabe chipped in 14 to lead the visiting Bulldogs (23-5), who play host to Redondo in the second round Saturday.

In Division 2AA:

San Clemente 46, El Dorado 43: Claire Pham stayed hot with 22 points and freshman Kiley Husbands added 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the host Tritons (22-7). San Clemente plays at Rancho Christian in the second round Saturday.

Buena Park 79, Riverside Poly 41: Gloria Barrera scored 25 points to lead the host Coyotes (20-9), who play at reigning state Division III champion Los Osos in the second round Saturday.

Fairmont Prep 81, Beaumont 54: Adyra Rajan erupted for 36 points, including nine 3-pointers, to lead the visiting Huskies (21-8), who play host to reigning CIF-SS Division 4AA champion Rialto in the second round Saturday. Rajan set a season-high for points and 3s.

Crean Lutheran 56, West Torrance 43: Jane Hewitt scored 12 points to lead the host Saints (19-6), who play at St. Anthony in the second round Saturday.

In Division 2A:

Pacifica Christian 55, Rolling Hills Prep 46: Alexia Valencia had 15 points to lead the visiting Tritons (20-8), who play host to Chino in the second round Saturday.

Los Alamitos 65, Pioneer 45: Tam Yoshida (14), Maya Asumbrado (14), Kayli Liew (13) points and Megan Lee (10) scored in double figures as the host Griffins (24-5) extended their winning streak to 12 games. Los Alamitos plays at Beckman in the second round Saturday in a clash of league champions.

In Division 3A:

Huntington Beach 48, Segerstrom 40: Freshman Emma Miyai scored 18 points and freshman Emily Hoang added 14 to lead the Oilers (17-12) into Saturday’s second round against visiting No. 1 JSerra. The Lions defeated Desert Christian Academy 56-21.

Dana Hills 65, Cajon 20: Freshman Kayla Rice scored 21 points to pace the host Dolphins (24-4), who play at Cal in the second round Saturday.
