Joey Fatone of ‘N Sync and AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys are joining forces for a nostalgic boy band throwback show.

The two performers will hit the stage together at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage on March 16. Tickets for the event are $50-$150 at aguacalientecasinos.com. Fatone and McLean will also perform at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula on March 15 (sold out) and 17. Tickets for the March 17 show start at $60 at Ticketmaster.com.

Before becoming a member of the multi-platinum boy band known for hits like “Bye Bye Bye,” “It’s Gonna Be Me” and “This I Promise You,” Fatone worked at Universal Orlando Resort in the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue. The job would lead him to meet another theme park performer, Chris Kirkpatrick, who would join to form ‘N Sync . The pop group, which also included Justin Timberlake, quickly became one of the most iconic groups of the ’90s.

Fatone has since gone into other projects, including film, television and theater. He hosted “My Family Recipe Rocks!” on the Live Well Network from 2012-2014, highlighting the stories of cooks and their homemade specialties from around the country. He also starred in the film, “Once Upon a Time in America” alongside Robert DeNiro.

McLean made up one-fifth of the Backstreet Boys, also one of the most successful pop groups to come out of the ’90s. He joined them at the age of 14 after seeing an ad in his local newspaper looking for young men to form a musical group. After auditioning, he joined Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell to form the Backstreet Boys, releasing massive hits such as “I Want It That Way,” “As Long as You Love Me” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
