Obituary

Michele J. DeGrave passed away on January 16, 2024 after a brave battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family. Michele is survived by her two brothers, Doug and Mark DeGrave, as well as her sisters-in-law, Debbie and Trish DeGrave, along with many nephews and nieces.Michele was born on October 29, 1961 to Gorman and Elaine DeGrave in Rochester, New York. The family moved to California in 1965 and became residents of Orange County the following year. Michele attended Villa Park High School and lived in the city of Orange for 48 years.Michele enjoyed spending time with family, reading a good book, engaging in lively political discussions, and sharing a glass of fine wine with friends. She was a Greeter at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange for many years. Michele will be missed by many who loved her.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
