Jeffrey Scott Lyngaas was born August 15, 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin and passed away on January 14, 2024 at Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. Jeff graduated from Madison West High School in Madison, WI in 1967. After high school, he entered the United States Air Force and was stationed in Izmir, Turkey and Zaragosa, Spain following basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. After discharge, he attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating from the School of Business in 1978. Jeff made his home in Tustin, CA from 2001 until his death.Jeff married Jeannie Elliott September 6, 1986 and they had two sons, David Jeffrey, and Cory Alan. He worked for Ricoh USA as a Quality Assurance Manager in Irvine, CA for most of his professional career. Jeff maintained an eclectic joy of reading, studying history and theology, playing bridge and cribbage, Packer football, family, and community. He volunteered at Tustin Library; Tustin Area Historical Society; teaching local students to read and served at the Tustin Presbyterian Church. Jeff is survived by his sons: David, Pittsburg, KS, and Cory (Jessica Bisley) San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Roy (3) and Rex (1); his siblings Richard (Kathleen), Madison, WI; Bonnie Sanguinet (Craig), St. Charles, MO; John (Linda), Naples, FL; Roger (Shantel), Boise, ID; Scott (Natasa), Paris, France with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Lyngaas and Beulah Wentworth Lyngaas.
