A suspect was shot and wounded while investigators with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and La Habra police served a search warrant during a narcotics investigation at a house in Seal Beach on Wednesday, Feb. 7, authorities said.
The search warrant was served in the 3500 block of Columbine Street in the College Park East neighborhood, just north of the 405 Freeway, around 6 a.m., Seal Beach police said.
The suspect was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, said Richard Beam, a spokesman with Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles.
Further information had not been released yet by Homeland Security officials.
