As part of Honda Center in Anaheim’s ongoing 30th anniversary celebration, the arena is hosting Orange County punk rock band The Offspring on Saturday, June 1.
Since it also happens to be the 30th anniversary of the band’s hit album, “Smash,” which spawned the singles “Come Out and Play,” “Bad Habit” and “Self Esteem,” the group will perform the record in its entirety, plus other hits.
“These songs are still so fun to play,” The Offspring guitarist Noodles said backstage at KROQ/FM 106.7’s Almost Acoustic Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Kia Forum in Inglewood about the tracks off of “Smash.” “They don’t seem like 30-year-old songs to us. We really do love all of the songs and whenever we’re connecting with an audience, there’s no feeling in the world like that.”

Despite being locals, this will be the first time The Offspring has ever played Honda Center.
Tickets go on sale to the public starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 at Ticketmaster.com and in honor of the 30th anniversaries, a limited number of tickets will be sold for $30. There are a number of presales, too, for The Offspring Fan Club, Honda Center and Anaheim Ducks Orange Alliance Members starting on Tuesday, Dec. 12. Live Nation and Ticketmaster presales will start at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. To sign up for the Honda Center presale, go to hondacenter.com/encore-club.
Since it’s a yearlong 30th anniversary celebration for Honda Center, this show will include a kick-off party and fan fest that will precede the concert and include live music, yard games, photo ops and more. There will also be event-exclusive merchandise to commemorate the milestone and a limited-edition beer collaboration between Brewery X and The Offspring that will be available for purchase at the Brewery X Biergarten and other concession locations at Honda Center.
