Mötley Crüe was set to ring in 2024 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert on Sunday, Dec. 31, but the Los Angeles rock band said on Thursday, Dec. 21 that the show has been canceled.

The quartet originally announced the gig on Dec. 1, but took to X on Thursday to share that they’d no longer be able to party with fans on New Year’s Eve.

“It is with deep regret we must inform you that the Crüe Year’s Eve show in Palm Springs is being canceled,” the post read. “The very short time frame to produce the event resulted in issues beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024!”

It’s a bummer, especially since we spoke with drummer Tommy Lee about the gig last week and he was stoked about the performance.

“I don’t like being at the party, I like being the party,” Lee said of wanting to get out and do something fun on New Year’s Eve.

Looks like he’ll have to make other plans.
