A vacant barn in Buena Park, located beside Knott’s Berry Farm, caught fire Thursday, Nov. 23.

The blaze was reported around 6:30 p.m. on the 7800 block of Western Avenue, the Orange County Fire Authority said on social media. The fire department’s website says the response involved 27 units.

Tonight crews in Buena Park arrived on-scene of a 2 story vacant barn well involved with fire. Firefighters utilized a defensive strategy to protect exposures and provide for firefighter safety.

The fire department said there were no injuries, and the cause is being investigated.
It was not immediately clear if the barn is owned by Knott’s Berry Farm. Representatives for the theme park could not be reached Thursday night.
