A 54-year-old man suspected of fatally striking a woman with his vehicle and injuring three others near Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center was arrested last week, authorities said.

Around 5 p.m. on January 5, a sedan driving near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue struck three people crossing at the intersection, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Jon McClintock. Minutes later, the same vehicle struck 75-year-old Judith Stanford at the Harbor Boulevard and Convention Way intersection.

Stanford was taken to a hospital where she later died.

One of the other three victims suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Nearly two weeks after the crash, authorities identified the suspected driver as Kien Do, a Santa Ana resident, McClintock said. Do was arrested in Stanton on Wednesday, Jan 17, on suspicion of vehicle manslaughter with gross negligence, assault with a deadly weapon and hit and run with injury.

He is being held without bail.

Anyone with information about the hit and run crash should contact Anaheim PD at 714-765-1900 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
